Voluntary donations
Pack highlighted that the official launch of the Cancer Apple Project has been moved to February 2026, aligning with Namibia’s peak apple harvest season to ensure high-quality produce and cost efficiency. Despite this change, the project has introduced a voluntary donation feature on the Bank Windhoek Mobile App, allowing customers to contribute from as little as N$5 per transaction. All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Association of Namibia.
“We are delighted with the efforts so far and encourage the public to donate via our website or mobile app at their convenience,” said Pack.
Since its inception in 2000, the Bank Windhoek Cancer Apple Project has raised N$38.4 million for the Cancer Association of Namibia, supporting its vital work in cancer care and awareness.
The Golf Day and the ongoing fundraising efforts underscore Bank Windhoek’s commitment to combining sport, community engagement, and charitable support for a meaningful cause.
