NHRSA hosts Omaheke shoot
The Namibian Hunting Rifle Shooting Association (NHRSA) recently held their Omaheke shoot outside Gobabis at Walmaine Exotic Game Breeders.The shoot started with the six ranges for the .222/.223 category, followed by the Open shoot the following day, with a little further distances.
The association thanks Zandrea and Walter Kinnear from Walmaine for allowing them to make use of their farm for the shoot, as well as everyone that helped with planning and building the 12 ranges for the weekend.
The class winners were as follows:

Seniors: Willie Langford and WP Barnard Snr

Silver Class: Basjan van der Merwe, Wilhelm Loubser and Tabbie Barnard

On 3 June, the NHRSA hosts the Top 30 from which the Namibian men’s team will be selected to compete against South Africa. On 4 June, the Open Class will be shot, which is open to all competitors, and on 5 June NHRSA will host the .222/.223 shoot, which is also open to all competitors. The competition takes place on Farm Zonnewaldt at Stampriet.
