PyCon NA 2024 brings programmers together

The ninth edition of Namibia’s annual Python software programming conference brings international speakers on artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, web applications and more at Goethe-Institut in Windhoek from 4 to 7 March.
This year PyCon Namibia features two main conference days at Goethe-Institut in Windhoek (6 and 7 March), with the programme of talks and workshops reflecting the skills and accomplishments of Namibian software programmers. Multiple speakers from other African countries and Europe will complete the line-up. Furthermore, software professionals, enthusiasts, data scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and learners are invited to join in this exciting event.
PyCon Namibia strives to make the opportunities it offers accessible to all, thus tickets are priced for affordability.
Education days
As part of PyCon Namibia’s mission to educate and inspire, two days of the programme are brought directly into Windhoek institutions, namely NUST on 4 March and Jakob Marengo Tutorial College on 5 March.
The education days have been made possible by a grant from the International Python Software Foundation.
Year after year PyCon Namibia brings attendees and speakers from across the world to Windhoek. Through PyCon NA, multiple Namibian programmers have found jobs and success in the software industry.
