FlyNamibia celebrates agents

FlyNamibia hosted its inaugural agent awards last week, celebrating the outstanding achievements of travel agents who have been instrumental in the airline's success.
The event, themed "Glamour of the Golden Age of Travel", transported attendees back to a time when air travel was synonymous with elegance and grandeur. Guests embraced the theme, dressing in styles that reflected the charm and sophistication of the bygone era. The evening was a glittering affair, recognising the hard work and dedication of travel industry partners.
FlyNamibia honoured both individual agents and agencies for their remarkable contributions.
The winners are Liandra Feris and Ingracia Mambo from Trip Travel, and Hendrina Ashetu from Travel Hub as top performing agents, and the agencies celebrated included Rennies Travel, Travel Hub, with Trip Travel shining as Top Agency for 2023.
"Tonight is not just about awards; it's a celebration of partnership, commitment, and a shared vision for the future of travel," said a FlyNamibia GM: Commercial, Nerine Uys. "These awards recognise the incredible efforts of our partners in promoting our services and destinations. Their dedication has been pivotal in expanding our reach and enhancing customer experiences."
The evening was filled with appreciation, recognition, and anticipation for future endeavours. "As we continue to soar to new heights, our relationship with our agents remains the cornerstone of our success. Together, we look forward to charting new courses and bringing the world closer to the beauty of Namibia," Uys added.
The FlyNamibia Agent Awards have set a new benchmark in the travel industry, fostering a spirit of collaboration and excellence.
FlyNamibia currently operates domestic routes from Eros Airport in Windhoek to Ondangwa, Katima Mulilo, Lüderitz and Oranjemund, as well as regional routes between Hosea Kutako International Airport and Cape Town International, and Walvis Bay International Airport and Cape Town International.
FlyNamibia Safari connects travellers between Hosea Kutako International Airport and Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein, Etosha - Ongava, Etosha - Mokuti, as well as from Eros Windhoek to Rundu.
